Push Nothing. "I did it MY WAY"

The best thing I learned in Vienda Maria’s business course Her Way was to surrender to the energy of my business. If you do it right, the entire process is one that grows you spiritually. It awakens you to your own subtleties.

For example, when you’re beginning to feel a bit bitter, or like your work is going unappreciated, that is a sign something is internally off. The thing is- you’re not doing anything for the reaction from others, even though you might think you do. Everything you do is simply to express your highest self and bring your vision to fruition. You truly, honestly, do not care about how much recognition you get. Sure, it’s nice, it’s really nice, but it’s just icing on the cake.

What success actually feels like is to be in total integrity. That’s where it starts and ends. It’s complicated when you’re not even sure which values are your own and which you just passively collected through your life experience. Especially those of us who are empathetic will really fight with this- confusing other people’s opinions or fears with their own. So I believe that even though we say we’re scared of judgment- I hypothisize that this is simply a decoy thought. I think what we’re actually scared of is not living our highest expression, but that is just less obvious and less discussed.

I know this from personal experience. The thing is, I’m not really afraid of anything. I feel pretty optimistic in general about how things work. BUT sometimes I get confused and start subconsciously trying to emulate people I admire or am jealous of. It eventually will emerge into my awareness in the form of feeling uneasy, unsure, like “what am I doing?” Now I know this is all just a signal that I need to slow down, relax and find my center again. When I’m engaging with the world from my center, then I am easy breezy:)

Thanks to HERWAY, I know what to do when this happens. I know how to tune into myself. This feminine and relaxed way of running a business is the only way that I can be successful. I know this because I am SO efficient and productive when I am relaxed. There is no possibility for burnout. That’s how you build a business that is sustainable, and not fall victim to the stress epidemic.

Emotional Alchemy

I see the light because I'm intimately aware of the darkness. I have climbed up from depths that I thought I'd never escape. A few times.

I often get comments like "You're always smiling" or "How are you so happy all the time?" First of all, I'm not- I'm probably just happy to see you;) Secondly, I am actually pretty happy. And I can be so happy because I was so sad- ranging from desperate despair to apathetic disdain of being alive... lots of flavors of sadness. Yumm. lol.

I'm kinda mad about it, but I've come to accept that the lowest moments are the most potent for alchemy. The minutes, days, weeks, months, that you honestly don't care to experience are the exact ones that you MUST experience. You're becoming a warrior just by going through it.

The ONLY thing that you must do in those moments is be open to the possibility of not feeling terrible forever. That is literally it. Just hypothetically open to the fact that the chemicals bumming you out might just cycle out eventually on their own and you won't feel so terrible even if circumstances remain the same. Be open to a miracle. (For some, that miracle is medication).

Once the negative momentum subsides - do as much as you can to build the momentum of the positive.

What does that look like practically? In my case, I like to simmer in the good stuff for as long as possible. Music & nature are my biggies. I'll literally stare at one cloud for 30 minutes. I follow squirrels to see what they're doin. Eating things the earth made and absolutely not taking that for granted.

Just getting lost in the magic in the world happening all the time is a beautiful way to passively surrender your sadness to the earth. Let your ego-identity dissolve in the everyday miracles that lovingly surround you.

As Abraham Hicks says, "There is great love here for you."
