I literally said to a family member recently "I am not available for that tone. Let's talk later." Y'ALL. It was effective. I drew a firm energetic boundary, calmly. I stood on the shoulders of past Hanna's who have done so much damn work to undo codependent & other fear-based patterns. YAY!! It was really effective too. Sometimes you just have to be super clear that you’re not interested in participating in arguments. They can find somebody else. As Amanda Seales says, “Not today. Not the one.”
After all the internal & external work, I am no longer choosing to be available for situations that teach me the same thing again. I have learned my lesson, finally! Life can be way more fun with the right perspective! SO- I am available for beautiful, happy, calm, respectful, loving energy!! I am available for incredible food and beautiful sunsets!
YOU have also done enough work to simply have higher standards for yourself and so I implore you - yes you - to only allow things that match your inner state. You’re kind and you do your best and you give people the benefit of the doubt- it’s time to turn that around on yourself and be RELENTLESS about it.
2022 is the year we put everything into practice that we’ve learned. We have come so far and it’s time we claim our energetic claim. We have done the work. We have put in the time and the tears. We have shed the layers. The work is never done, but from now on let’s enjoy the freaking process, shall we?
I’m sure I will be confronted with new internal barriers, reflected externally in the form of perceived “obstacles.” That is the nature of the continuously expanding consciousness. I am making a promise to myself though, that I will do my best to not take any of those obstacles personally. I will do my best to simply relax and smile and TRUST that whatever is on the other side of it, is GLORIOUS.
