When I’m Home

When I'm Home I'm living in the past

My childhood the years went by so fast

Please give me a reason to stay

It really would please me to feel so loved everyday

But I keep on moving don't turn back around

There's nothing left for me in this small town

I wanna go see the world

Do you believe we always get what we deserve?

OH Home

You're not alone

OH Home

Never alone

Well those stone gates they haunt my dreams at night

Reminds me of a time when I felt alright

Do build me a time machine

Just to remind me

of what it felt like to have everything

But we were looking forward not behind

and all that we have lost we'll one day find

You just have to Carpe the Diem

and never be sorry when the day has reached its end

OH Home

You're not alone

No Home

Never alone

Well the home you left ain't something you forget

It's always in your heart that's in your chest

We carved our names in a tree

It shows our love

For all the deer and squirrels to see

Well run run run as fast as you can run

Lost our clothes and really had our fun

But we were just teenagers

It's hard to believe that everyone starts out

Young young young young everywhere's my home

Young young young young everywhere's my home

Young young young young everywhere's my home

No matter who I'm with I'm not alone
