THE STRUCTURE:

  • We meet on Zoom for 70 minutes.

  • We begin by grounding into the space and inviting in our other co-songwriter, the muse.

  • I ask questions and you say beautiful, cool things that delight the both of us. We follow an intuitive thread. I write extensive notes.

  • After the session, I'll tune into your energy to come up with a melody and use lyrics inspired by your words that totally capture the heart of your celebration.

  • Once the song is complete, you'll get a digital recording of the song and the lyrics. You can listen to it anytime, anywhere, and share it with your squad to celebrate together.

  • If you want even more fun, I can also offer live performances, karaoke track, or physical copies of the song for an extra fee.

Questions you might have:

How long does it take to create a Celebration Song? The process typically takes around 1-2 weeks from the initial consultation to the final delivery of the song.

What if I don’t like something, can I ask for changes? YES, you have 3 points of revision available to you. I ask that you be as specific as possible and sleep on it 7 days (the one time I was asked to change something, I was later asked to change it back).

Can you meet some of us separately within the session? YES, you can break up the time however you like. It can be fun to surprise each other.

Can I request live performances of my Celebration Song? Yes, I offer live performance services both solo and with a band for an additional fee.

Can you write in a different style than your original music? NO, not really. It’s best that you like my original music if you’re asking me to write a song with/for you! With that said, your individual taste in music is absolutely taken into account and I can comfortably write in pop, soul, folk, blues, and rock genres.

Can I order a Celebration Song as a gift for someone else? Absolutely! A custom Celebration Song makes a truly unique and thoughtful gift for any occasion.
